Overview
Dr. Kathleen Sterling is part of the Suburban Hospital’s medical staff and a urologist with Urological Consultants, P.A. Dr. Sterling served as chief resident of the University of Maryland Medical Center urology program. During her training, she performed laboratory research related to overactive bladder. With an undergraduate degree from Vanderbilt University, Dr. Sterling served as a Surface Warfare Officer in the United States Navy, completing two deployments at sea, including one combat mission during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Dr. Sterling treats both men and women. Her expertise includes voiding dysfunction, male and female urinary incontinence and female pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Wright is a member of the American Urologic Association and the Mid-Atlantic Section of American Urologic Association as well as the Society for Urodynamics and Female Urology. He has been recognized with a number of awards including Winner of the Urology Chief Resident's debate New York section of the American Urologic Society at the The New York Academy of Medicine.
