Dr. Sisir Botta

Dr. Chinarian specializes in Pediatric Rehabilitation Medicine in the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Institute for Brain Protection Sciences. He joined the hospital in 2015. His focus is on the care of children with disabilities, whether congenital or acquired. Since joining the hospital, he has started and/or been involved in numerous multidisciplinary clinics, including Torticollis Clinic, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) Clinic, Spina Bifida Clinic,Stroke Clinic, Skeletal Dysplasia Clinic, Spasticity Clinic, and most recently Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Clinic. In addition, he sees patients from infancy to young adulthood with various developmental disabilities, especially a large population of patients with cerebral palsy. After graduating from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1989, Dr. Chinarian completed a combined residency in pediatrics and physical medicine and rehabilitation (PM&R) at Wayne State University in 1994. Dr. Mitchell graduated summa cum laude from Ohio University and completed her medical training with an M.D. from Ohio State University. After her residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of Cincinnati, she completed a fellowship there in computed tomography (CT), ultrasound and interventional radiology. She continued subspecialty training at Johns Hopkins in interventional radiology and subsequently joined the faculty. Dr. Mitchell's research interests include vascular malformations and HHT. Dr. Mitchell is a Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology and Fellow of the Cardiovascular and Interventional Society of Europe. She is a member of the International Society for the Study of Vascular Anomalies, the American College of Radiology and the Radiological Society of North America.
