Dr. Roberts has been treating patients in Arizona for over 20 years and is board certified in medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Roberts is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine, and American Society of Clinical Oncologists. Dr. Ortiz Cruz joined Ironwood Cancer & Research Center in September 2014, after completing her hematology and medical oncology fellowship at the University of South Carolina in Charleston. She completed two years of research at the National Cancer Institute | National Institutes of Health in Bethesda Maryland where she was involved with clinical research in radiation oncology in addition to work with medical oncology. Dr. Ortiz Cruz also completed an internal medicineresidency training program at Banner Good Samaritan Medical Center in Phoenix. She has published several articles in scientific journals and presented at various meetings. Dr. Cruz's specializes in solid tumor and hematologic disorders with a special interest in breast, colon cancer and lymphoma. He currently resides in Chandler with his wife and three children, and enjoys tennis, chess and racquetball during his spare time.
