He is currently principal investigator for a prospective multi-center investigation on obstructive sleep apnea prevalence and the impact of treatment in patients with COPD, and is also leading the development of a novel multi-dimensional questionnaire to evaluate sleep hygiene. Dr. Epstein is a member of the professional organizations the American Thoracic Society, American College of Chest Physicians, and the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
