Dr. Zahra R. Kelly
Overview
Zahra Rahman Kelly, DO, is a medical oncologist and hematologist at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Dr. Kelly is trained in the management of all cancers and blood disorders with a focus in genitourinary and head and neck malignancies. Dr. Kelly is board-certified in nternal medicine and medical oncology and hematology. She received her medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Kelly completed both a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in hematology/oncology at UPMC. She served as chief fellow during her final year of hematology/oncology fellowship. Her research interests include early phase clinical trial design and cancer immunotherapy combination trials. She has published papers in peer reviewed journals and is an active member of the UPMC Hillman protocol review committee where she reviews therapeutic oncology trials. She also collaborates with surgical oncologists and radiation oncologists to provide multidisciplinary care to her patients. Dr. Kelly is a member of the European Society of Medical Oncology, American Society of Medical Oncology, American Medical Association, and American Society of Hematology.

Dan P. Zandberg, MD, is an associate professor of medicine and a medical oncologist/hematologist, specializing in the treatment of head and neck and thyroid cancers. He is the Director of the Head and Neck and Thyroid Cancer disease sections for the division of Hematology/Oncology and the Medical Oncology Co-Leader of the UPMC Hillman Head and Neck Cancer Program.
