Dr. Loukia K. Papatheodorou

Loukia Papatheodorou, MD, is a graduate of the University of Thessaly Medical School in Biopolis, Larissa, Greece. She completed residencies at the University of Thessaly and Duke University Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina, and a fellowship in Hand and Upper extremity surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. Dr. Papatheodorou is currently a Clinical Associate Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at University of Pittsburgh. She speaks English, Greek, and French. Dr. Papatheodorou is board-certified in Orthopaedic Surgery by the Greece-European Union. She specializes in the treatment of hand surgery, carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist and elbow conditions, rotator cuff tears, wrist and elbow fractures, shoulder conditions and arthroscopic surgery and sees patients at locations in Pittsburgh, McKeesport, and Monroeville.
