Overview
As a urologist in Duke’s comprehensive kidney stone center, I focus on preventing and treating kidney stones using lifestyle changes, medicine and surgery. I see patients who have blood in their urine, problems with urination, as well as kidney stone pain and prevention. I went into urology because it’s a unique field where you can treat a problem with both medicine and surgery. My favorite part of my job is when someone comes in with pain and we are able to help relieve that pain and hopefully prevent it from returning. My hobbies outside of work include keeping up with my young daughter and spending time outside.
