Overview
As a general endocrinologist, Dr. Grethen is an expert in a variety of endocrine conditions. She is especially passionate about caring for people with diabetes, both type 1, type 2, and other forms. She utilizes technology whenever possible to ease the management of diabetes for her patients, including continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump therapy. Other areas in her field of special interest include hyperthyroidism, thyroid cancer, pituitary disease, osteoporosis, parathyroid and calcium-related disorders, PCOS, prediabetes, and management of diabetes during pregnancy.
