Doug Farquhar, MD, MPH, is a board certified surgeon in otorhinolaryngology, head and neck surgery at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. He has expertise in ear, nose, and throat diseases and conditions, with particular specialty in nose and sinus conditions, as well as and skull base tumors and cancers.Dr. Farquhar earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, while simultaneously obtaining a masters in public health. He completed his surgical internship and residency at the University of North Carolina, while also completing an NIH-funded research fellowship investigating head and neck cancers and sinus disease. While at Thomas Jefferson, he helped to lead research into treatments for COVID-related smell loss.
