Dr. Michelle M. Hagopian
Overview
Dr. Michelle Hagopian has been a board-certified general surgeon since 2017. She is fellowship-trained in surgical critical care and therapeutic oncology. Dr. Hagopian specializes in laparoscopic, endoscopic and robot-assisted surgeries for trauma/critical care patients of all ages. She has served on the medical staff of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth since 2020. A Texas native, Dr. Hagopian earned her medical degree from The University of Texas School of Medicine at San Antonio. She completed her general surgery residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center/Parkland Hospital in Dallas before going on to complete her surgical critical care fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center, also in Dallas. She has additional fellowship training in therapeutic oncology, during which she was devoted to researching new ways to improve the early detection, diagnosis and treatment of cancers. Dr. Hagopian is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Society of Critical Care Medicine and Texas Medical Association.
