Overview
I am an infectious disease provider and see a wide variety of infectious diseases, including everything from HIV to Hepatitis C to bone and joint infections and everything in between. I want patients to feel comfortable to express their problems in their own words without receiving any judgment from me. I need as much information as I can to do my job correctly, so to me, accessibility is the center of the therapeutic dynamic between my patient and myself. Our division here at Duke runs the gamut of world experts in skin infections to complicated fungal infections to transplant infectious diseases. The thing that inspires me the most about working here is our commitment from all providers, regardless of their research involvement or academic activities, to patient care, and patient care first. I’m proud to be part of that tradition.

I enjoy taking care of patients. Dealing with illnesses, such as infections, is difficult and disruptive to everyday life. However, after six years of training at Duke University, my family and I are delighted to call North Carolina home.
