Dr Karaikovic is a fellowship-trained orthopedic spine and trauma surgeon. He’s a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, North American Spine Society, and Scoliosis Research Society. He is affiliated with several universities (UIC, UC, and Sarajevo School of Science and Technology) and has published and lectured both nationally and internationally.Dr. Karaikovic has proudly volunteered around the world (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Costa Rica, Moldova, the Philippines, South Africa, Vietnam) and is the founder and president of the Eldin Karaikovic Charity, Research and Education Foundation. He received several awards for his professional, educational, and philanthropic efforts. In his free time, he enjoys biking and skiing.
