Dr. Mary W. Montgomery

Dr. Mary Montgomery is a clinician educator in the Division of Infectious Disease at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Montgomery received her MD degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at BWH, was selected to be a chief medical resident and then completed a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the combined BWH/MGH program.She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. Her areas of clinical expertise include HIV, travel medicine and recurrent breast infections. Her academic interests include One Health which is the overlap between human, animal and ecosystem health and medical education research.She is dedicated to medical education and directs the sub internship at Harvard Medical School. She also co-directs the first year Harvard Medical School clinical skills course at BWH. She has been asked to speak at local, national and international conferences on HIV and other infectious disease topics.
