I dreamed of one day helping patients return to the activities they loved just as did. I studied hard, became an EMT, volunteered at a firehouse, worked ski patrol in college and taught the winter care emergency course to my fellow patrollers. In medical school I found orthopedic surgery to be the most exciting path for me, and I have never looked back.
