He earned a master's degree in healthcare delivery leadership at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and completed Lean Six Sigma training at Johns Hopkins.Prior to joining Northwell, Dr. Tsao served as medical director of the Ruttenberg Treatment Center, medical director of the medical oncology prostate cancer program, and physician leader for internal oncology collaborations at the Mount Sinai Hospital, Tisch Cancer Institute. In these roles, Dr. Tsao and his team built a cancer center that is patient centered, quality driven, scientifically innovative, and provided multi-disciplinary care to patients with cancer.For me, patient care much more than the cancer diagnosis and treatment.
