Dr. Kristin A. Higgins

Diana A. Santiago, MD is a board-certified radiation oncologist, currently practicing and serving as Medical Director of the Piedmont Newnan Hospital Radiation Oncology Clinic. She treats all tumor types, but has a special interest in breast, prostate, lung and head and neck malignancies. Dr. Santiago earned her medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. She completed her residency in 1996 at the Medical University of South Carolina. She received her board certification in Radiation Oncology in 1997. Dr. Santiago has been practicing medicine and Radiation Oncology for almost 20 years with her medical group, Therapeutic Radiation Oncology, P.C. Dr. Santiago is very active in administration and strategic planning of cancer services throughout the Piedmont System. She currently serves on the Piedmont Centers of Excellence for breast cancer. In 2017, she was appointed to the Board of Directors of Piedmont Fayette Hospital.Her practice consists of treatment of all types of cancer, but her specific interests include breast, prostate, and cancers of the head and neck.She lives in Peachtree City with her husband, Dr. Thippeswamy Murthy (cardiology) and her two children, ages 12 and 16.She is an avid hiker and loves to cook and read in her spare time.
