I am hospital medicine and geriatrics specialist whose patient care focus is on the hospital care of the elderly. My work includes inpatient geriatric consultation, perioperative care, transitions of care, and patient safety. I am also a geriatrics hospitalist clinical researcher who conducts innovative and high impact research that leads to better care, reduced risk, and lower cost to hospitalized older adults.
