Dr. Jason Birnbaum

Dr. Wise is a pulmonary, critical care physician. He is an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with obstructive lung disease, including those with asthma and COPD. He is a consultant for patients with scleroderma and interstitial lung disease. He has expertise in pulmonary physiology and lung function testing. Dr. Picone has authored articles on pulmonary arterial hypertension and treatment, bioethics, end-of-life decision-making and parenchymal lung diseases. He has been a Medical Volunteer in several Latin American countries and currently volunteers with Mobile Medical Clinics of Greater Washington, D.C., where he serves at its Executive Board with the mission of providing free medical care to the underserved community of Washington. Dr. Picone also serves as a Board Member of Operation Canasta, supporting schools and orphanages in Argentina's hinterland.
