Dr. Aditi A. Sharma

Dr. Aditi A. Sharma is a board-certified UCI Health general dermatologist who specializes in skin disorders, including skin cancers. Her clinical interests include Mohs surgery and dermatologic oncology.She earned her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond, Va. She completed a residency in dermatology at the UCI School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in dermatologic oncology and Mohs surgery at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine.Before starting medical school, Sharma worked at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), where she studied viral immunity. She also worked at the World Health Organization (WHO) on issues involving improved access to care and the quality and safe use medical devices. In addition, she worked at the Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy in New Delhi, India, where she was involved in the Disease Control Priorities Project and the analysis of antimicrobial resistance.

Her clinical expertise encompasses Acute Febrile Neutrophilic Dermatosis, Vitiligo, Venous Thromboembolism (VTE), and Actinic Keratosis.

Dr. Sharma is board certified in American Board Of Dermatology - Micrographic Dermatologic Surgery and American Board Of Dermatology - Dermatology. She is actively involved in clinical research, co-authoring 45 peer reviewed articles. Dr. Sharma is currently accepting new patients.
