Dr. Aniruddh Setya is a pediatric gastroenterologist who treats patients from birth to 21 years old. He specializes in inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), liver disease, cow milk protein allergy, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS). His current research interests include IBD in college-age children. Dr. Setya's medical services also include hepatology, endoscopy, and nutrition consultations. He employs a holistic diet-based approach to treat common gastroenterology illnesses. Practicing medicine gives him the opportunity to contribute to societal well-being, bringing joy, relief, and hope to people when they need it most. Dr. Setya is an assistant professor with the Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology in the Department of Pediatrics at Saint Louis University School of Medicine. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, NASPGHAN, ISPGHAN, and Medical Council of India. Growing up, Dr. Setya wanted to be a movie star, pursuing theater and choreography until he entered medical school.
His clinical expertise encompasses Delayed Growth, Gastroparesis, Cannabinoid Hyperemesis Syndrome (CHS), and Crohn's Disease.
