Despite their innocence, children are often faced with difficulties and limitations as they grow. Whether it be scoliosis, hip dysplasia, limb deformity and fractures, or neuromuscular conditions, no child ever asks to be brought to the doctor’s office. My passion for pediatric orthopaedics developed from a desire to help children overcome these obstacles and allow them to return to what they enjoy doing most and experience a care-free childhood. My goal is to support and guide patients and families through their treatment courses, from start to finish, through a shared decision-making approach. What makes pediatric orthopaedics so special to me is the relationships that form with families as we work together over time, sometimes from infancy through adolescence. There are few things more rewarding then seeing children witness their own capabilities.
