Overview
Bahar D. Yilmaz, M.D., joins Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area (RSC), following the completion of her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California, San Francisco. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University’s McGaw Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Dr. Yilmaz’s clinical interests center on uterine health, including endometriosis, adenomyosis, pregnancy loss, artificial intelligence in medicine, fertility preservation, and personalized medicine. Her research has examined endometrial receptivity, chronic endometritis, and the environmental factors associated with early pregnancy loss, with findings published in journals including the Journal of Assisted Reproduction and Genetics and Cell Reports Medicine. She was recognized with the American Society for Reproductive Medicine’s Endometriosis Special Interest Group Prize Paper Award and a Pacific Coast Reproductive Society Research Grant, both in 2025.
