Dr. Brian J. Larkin

Dr. Brian J. Larkin is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacement, including outpatient procedures, anterior hip arthroplasty, partial knee replacement, hip arthroscopy, and open hip preservation. He joined Orthopedic Associates in 2012, one of the founding divisions of Orthopedic Centers of Colorado. Originally from Michigan, Dr. Larkin graduated with honors in biomedical engineering from Yale University, where he played varsity soccer. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University and completed his orthopedic residency at Henry Ford Hospital, serving as Chief Resident. He completed his fellowship in joint preservation and replacement at Washington University in St. Louis. An active researcher and speaker, Dr. Larkin is a Fellow of the AAOS and AAHKS, and an Emerging Leader in the American Orthopedic Association. He serves as Chief Medical Officer of Orthopedic Centers of Colorado and holds leadership roles with Surgical Care Affiliates, including chairing the High Acuity Sub-Committee. He is also Co-Director of the Orthopedic Program at Rose Medical Center and formerly served as a consulting physician for the Colorado Avalanche.
