From 2002-2010, Dr. Rogers was a faculty member of the Division of Plastic and Oral Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital and he held an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School. During this time, he co-invented two medical devices designed to prevent plagiocephaly. In 2010, Dr. Rogers joined Children’s National as the Chief of Pediatric Plastic Surgery. He is a Professor of Surgery and Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Rogers completed a Masters in Law (LL.M.) focusing on healthcare law from the George Washington School of Law in 2016 and is currently a student in the Masters of Applied Economics program at the George Washington University Columbian College of Arts and Science. Dr. Rogers holds a subspecialty board certification in hand surgery (CAQHS) from the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has authored more than 170 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters. He has also lectured at numerous regional, national and international meetings. He and his wife of 23 years, Wendy, have four children and live in Great Falls, Virginia.
