I attended Medical School at Rush University in Chicago and completed my General Surgery Residency at Froedtert/Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. I enjoy all aspects of general surgery, especially emergency surgery and care of the traumatically injured patient. I am the medical director of Thedacare's Level II trauma center. I approach each patient individually. After gathering all information, my responsibility as the surgeon is to provide the patient and his or her family with all of the treatment options. Then as a team (surgeon, patient, family), we collectively determine the course of action to obtain the best clinical outcome for the patient in the most efficient way possible.
