Dr. Goldberg acquired a foundation in trauma, surgery and surgery critical care at the University Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada and the Ryder Trauma Center at the University of Miami in Miami, Florida. He continued at the University of Miami, serving fellowships in surgical critical care and trauma surgery, and doing crash injury research at the William Lehman Injury Research Center. Dr. Goldberg has served as the medical director of the Surgical Intensive Care Unit at Lee Memorial Hospital in Ft. Myers, Florida. Dr. Goldberg specializes in diseases of the breast, upper GI tract, colon and rectum. He has extensive training in GI endoscopy, laparoscopic and other minimally invasive surgery. He is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and American Osteopathic Association.
