
Overview
Dr. Marsh is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan Medical School and Chief of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.She attended Harvard College where she graduated magna cum laude followed by Harvard Medical School where she graduated cum laude in 2001. She then completed her residency at the Integrated OBGYN Residency at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital in 2005. After residency, Dr. Marsh completed a Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility fellowship at Northwestern University. During this time, Dr. Marsh also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (MSCI) from Northwestern University. After completing fellowship in 2008, Dr. Marsh joined the faculty at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.In 2016, Dr. Marsh joined the U of M family. She is the founder and Director of the onWHARD collaborative, a group dedicated to women’s health and reproductive disparities research, education, and advocacy. In this capacity, she leads several large research studies including SOAR, a project investigating ovarian aging in African American women, and ELLAS, a cohort study designed to help health care providers better understand reproductive health conditions affecting the Latina/Latinx community.Dr. Marsh is also a committed community advocate. She builds bridges between community organizations and academia with community-based participatory research initiatives that have led to funding, publications, and awards.

Samantha Schon, MD, MTR is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She received her bachelor's and medical degree at the University of Michigan. She then completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Washington University in St. Louis. Following residency, Dr. Schon completed her fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility at the University of Pennsylvania. During this time, she also obtained a Master’s Degree in Translational Research while investigating the role of histone modifications in human sperm. In 2016, Dr. Schon returned home to UofM to join the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility.Dr. Schon has a special interest in the intersection of obesity and fertility. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Randolph completed his medical education at the University of Cincinnati in 1980, his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan in 1984, and his fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Connecticut in 1986. He has been on the faculty of University of Michigan since completing his training. He served as the Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility for 23 years, and established and still serves as Director of the fellowship training program in that discipline. He has a long-standing research interest in the endocrinology of ovarian aging and the menopausal transition, having been a co-principal investigator of the Study of Women’s Health Across the Nation for more than 22 years. Dr. Randolph has been a member of the University of Michigan Comprehensive Gender Services Program since its inception in 1994, initially as the gynecologic surgeon on the surgical team and, later, taking on the role of primary endocrinologist.
