Overview
Always interested in science, Dr. Erin Espinoza found being a physician fit everything she wanted in a career: lifelong learning, relationships with patients and working with a team. In medical school, she became intrigued by the body’s complicated blood system and found fulfillment in working with hematology patients toward a united treatment goal. Dr. Espinoza sees adult patients for the diagnosis and treatment of noncancerous blood disorders. She has a particular interest in hemostasis and thrombosis. She believes getting to know her patients as people helps her customize treatment plans to meet their lifestyles. She creates a judgment‑free and private environment where patients can be heard. She encourages everyone to incorporate extra movement in their lives for overall health. A native of the greater Cincinnati area, Dr. Espinoza and her husband have one child. She enjoys being outdoors, including gardening, hikes with her husband and playground time with her little one.
