Dr. Inoel Rivera

Dr. Inoel Rivera is a board-certified urologist with the Orlando Health Cancer Institute’s Urologic Cancer Center. He has specialized in oncology for more than 20 years, using minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopy and robotic surgery to treat cancers of the prostate, kidneys, bladder, testes, penis and adrenal glands. He earned his medical degree and completed a residency in urologic surgery at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in Rio Piedras. Dr. Rivera completed a urologic oncology fellowship at the University of Florida/Shands Hospital in Gainesville. He also served on the medical support team for NASA’s space shuttle program. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and his other professional memberships include the American Urological Association, Florida Urological Society, Society of Urologic Oncology and Society of Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgeons. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
