Daniel Cho, MD, PhD, is a UW Health Kids pediatric plastic surgeon and an assistant professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.Dr. Cho specializes in caring for infants and children with craniofacial differences including craniosynostosis, cleft lip and palate, jaw and facial asymmetries, jaw and facial tumors, facial trauma, speech disorders, ear abnormalities and craniofacial syndromes. He enjoys getting to see his patients grow and thrive as he provides follow-up care throughout their childhood.In addition, Dr. Cho performs a wide range of pediatric and adult reconstructive surgery, cosmetic surgery and a full spectrum of surgical care, from removing minor cysts to extremity reconstruction.Dr. Cho focuses his research on ways to improve screening, diagnosis and care for craniofacial disorders, including ways to monitor intracranial pressure.
