John completed his residency at University of Iowa and MercyOne North Iowa. His fellowship was completed at University of Minnesota.“As a primary care provider I have the opportunity to care for you with the most up-to-date means,” said Dr. Swisher. “I’m by your side when you experience the positives and stresses of life.”“I chose MercyOne because I can work hand-in-hand with specialists who value primary care, are readily available and close to home,” said John. “I also enjoy the opportunity to be a part of medical resident and medical student education.”John serves as the team physician for the Mason City Riverhawks and North Iowa Area Community College sports teams.
