Dixon Kaufman, MD, PhD, FACS, is a UW Health transplant surgeon and professor in the Department of Surgery, Division of Transplantation at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He works with medical students, residents, fellows and other colleagues on research, including the evaluation of difficult-to-treat infections. They also study antibody-mediated organ rejection to prevent setbacks and improve transplant outcomes.In his free time, Dr. Parajuli enjoys playing sports, including tennis, lawn tennis, ping-pong, soccer and cricket.The most rewarding part of my job is seeing a smile on my patient’s face.
