I couldn't be more thrilled to be practicing Pediatrics on the Central Coast. I easily fell in love with the area while attending Cal Poly, and although medical school relocated my husband and I to Los Angeles, we were certain we'd return to the area.Developing close relationships with families and watching my patients grow are my favorite aspects of being a pediatrician. It is especially rewarding to begin care from the first moments of a child's life. While enjoying all ages, I have a special interest in adolescents, as I feel they truly need an advocate during a time of such rapid physical, social and emotional growth. I look forward to starting new relationships with my patients and their families as I start my practice in San Luis Obispo.After completing medical school at the University of Southern California, Residency at Harbor UCLA Medical Center, and a Chief Resident year, also at Harbor UCLA, we couldn't wait to move back up north.We aim to deliver thoughtful, individualized and evidence based medical care for your child. We have found that involving both parents and their children in medical decision making yields the best outcomes. Our top priorities are prevention of illness, the well being of your child, and maintaining an open patient-doctor relationship.
