Overview

Philosophy of care | Simply put, I treat every patient as I would my own mother. (And I love my mother.) | Why I entered medicine | When I was young, my mother cleaned a doctor's office building and paid me $5 to vacuum the waiting room. Then, I would sneak into the doctor's office and sit at their desk. From there my curiosity of the medical field grew. I came to appreciate the human body and its intricacy. More importantly, I respected the commitment, passion and dedication the medical field exudes. Since seventh grade, I saw myself doing nothing else. | Community involvement | I donate time to the community when I can and am active in our church. I regularly speak at conferences to educate those on other areas of the medical field. | Personal interests | I enjoy time with my children and husband. Outside of medicine a good portion of my free time is spent with animals – we own a farm.
