Kieran Sahasrabudhe, MD, is a UW Health hematologist (blood disorder doctor). He’s also an assistant professor at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health in the Division of Hematology, Medical Oncology and Palliative Care within the Department of Medicine.Dr. Sahasrabudhe diagnoses and treats people with blood disorders and blood cancers, including all types of leukemia. When a patient has leukemia, the bone marrow makes large numbers of abnormal blood cells that crowd out the healthy cells. Dr. Sahasrabudhe helps his patients fight their blood cancer and reduce any symptoms, such as weakness, fatigue, infection or bleeding.To provide the very best care, Dr. Sahasrabudhe takes time to get to know his patients as individuals.
