Richard L. McGough, III, MD, is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency and orthopaedic traumatology fellowship at Brown University. He also completed a fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, remaining there as a surgical oncology research fellow. Dr. McGough is currently a professor of orthopaedic surgery with a dual appointment in the Division of Surgical Oncology. He serves as chief of musculoskeletal oncology at UPMC.
