Dr. Marjan Haghi is a board-certified UCI Health pediatric endocrinologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Her clinical interests also include insulin resistance and weight management.Haghi earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago, Ill. She completed a residency in pediatrics at the UCI School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at the UC San Diego School of Medicine.Her research interests include endocrine system abnormalities, thyroid function, polycystic ovary syndrome, Jacobsen syndrome and the effects of growth hormone and dexamethasone. She has presented several posters and abstracts at national and international conferences, and she is the author or co-author of several abstracts and published research papers in national journals.Haghi brings more than a decade of private practice experience in pediatric endocrinology to UCI Health.
