My favorite part about being a family doctor is that I have the privilege of developing long-term relationships with patients and their families. Through these relationships, I am able to help patients prevent illness before it starts. My patients and I work as a team to accomplish health care goals such as losing weight or quitting smoking. I see patients of all ages, from the first newborn visit to older patients with chronic medical problems like diabetes. I help patients understand the connection between nutrition and exercise and our emotional and physical health. I have special interest in ADHD, depression and anxiety, Suboxone treatment for opioid addiction, IUD and Nexplanon contraception and adolescent health.
