He has contributed to medical literature, with published research on topics including lung transplants, hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia, pulmonary hypertension, chronic eosinophilic pneumonia, nephrotic syndrome, pulmonary embolisms, heart failure and Whipple's disease. Dr. Chizinga is committed to community service and education. He has volunteered in patient care at a rural hospital in his native Lusaka, Zambia, provided tutoring in human anatomy to medical students at St. George’s University, and engaged in literacy programs with the Children in Distress organization in Zambia. Outside of work, Dr. Chizinga enjoys reading, soccer, running and weightlifting.
