Overview
Dr. Nan Wang earned her medical degree and completed both a residency and fellowship at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Wang is a clinical associate professor and holds the Walter and Ruth Sterling Professorship in Ophthalmology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) Medical School, where she has received the Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence. She has also won the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Achievement Award and is a past president of the Houston Ophthalmological Society. Board certified in ophthalmology, Dr. Wang’s clinical interests’ center on refractive, cornea and cataract surgery for patients of all ages. She specializes in laser vision correction (LASIK, PRK), lens implant for vision correction (ICL), cornea transplant (all kinds), and cataract surgery (including upgrade lens implant).
