Overview
I grew up in a small town in Puerto Rico and moved to Florida in 2008 after completing my residency in Long Island, NY. I enjoy being a primary care pediatrician because it allows me to educate families to support their children’s development. I address a child’s well-being from all perspectives — physical, emotional and intellectual. My interest in pediatrics began during my rotation in medical school. I found that caring for children was immensely rewarding. Pediatrics involves a group of family-centered approaches to ensure a healthy development, and I enjoyed been part of that. Children always remind me what it's like to be happy, happy with the simple things in life. I am passionate about education and patient advocacy. One of the most important experiences I can provide for parents and their children is to talk and listen to them. I do my best to provide my patients the same level of care and compassion that I want for my own children.
