Overview
I care for patients with reduced kidney function, high blood pressure, blood and protein in the urine (active kidney disease), electrolyte abnormalities and kidney stones. I also care for patients after kidney transplants. I see hospitalized patients at Methodist Hospital and round at several dialysis units in the community. I also see patients in my offices in St. Louis Park, Glencoe and Hutchinson. I enjoy educating patients on the nature of their diseases, the causes and effects of kidney disease, and coming up with treatment plans. I involve my patients in decision making whenever possible. I give my patients tools and information so we can agree on the goals and intensity of treatment together. I work hard to honor my patients’ wishes and beliefs.
