To be able to dedicate oneself in treating others is truly a privilege and honor. Surgery allows me to focus on the ""moment"" that is almost a spiritual experience. | Community involvement | While I was practicing in Philadelphia, I started a community 10k and 5k run in Washington Crossing to beat lung cancer. Not only to raise for money for lung cancer research but also to educate the public about lung cancer screening. As a thoracic surgeon, my role extends beyond operating.
