Dr. Robert Hetz earned his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), where he did his internship and residency in general surgery. During a postdoctoral fellowship at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth, he was involved in research on the use of progenitor cell therapies for the treatment of central nervous system diseases.
