During his tenure, Dr. Stinger held the position of Section Chief of Orthopedic Trauma and Adult Joint and Reconstructive Surgery. Prior to residency, Dr. Stinger served as a physician with the National Health Service Corps. He recently retired from surgery and now attends a full-time office practice. In his free time, Dr. Stinger enjoys everything outdoors. He frequents his cottage on Roanoke Island, NC, where is a beekeeper, an oyster farmer, and owns a small vineyard. He also enjoys boating, fishing and gardening.
