Dr. Robert D. Jongco

Robert D. Jongco, MD, is a fellowship-trained interventional pain specialist with Atlantic Medical Group (AMG). Double board-certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Jongco specializes in evaluating and treating general, acute and chronic pain patients. With more than 10 years of clinical experience, he believes patient-centered care is key to developing effective pain management. Prior to joining AMG, Dr. Jongco served as clinical director of The New Jersey Pain Institute at Rutgers Health and as an assistant professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at Rutgers University – Robert Wood Johnson University.After earning his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA, Dr. Jongco performed his residency in anesthesia and his fellowship in pain medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ. Previously, he earned a master’s degree in human physiology from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.Dr. Jongco has presented at national and international symposia and been published in peer-reviewed medical journals. He is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. He is a participating provider of the Atlantic Accountable Care Organization.
