Dr. Taylor J. Brueseke

Dr. Taylor J. Brueseke is a board-certified, fellowship-trained UCI Health urogynecologist who specializes in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery.His clinical interests include the management of urinary and anal incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and minimally invasive surgical approaches to pelvic reconstructive surgery, including uterine preservation. His expertise includes the treatment of recurrent urinary tract infections, vaginal mesh complications and the surgical repair of vesicovaginal and rectovaginal fistula.Brueseke earned his medical degree at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa. He completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the UCI School of Medicine, followed by a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.His research interests include optimizing patient safety, identifying new treatments for incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse, neuromodulation and minimally invasive (robotic) surgery.
