Dr. Yoann Millet earned his medical degree at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He completed his internship in general surgery at New York Presbyterian-Weill Cornell Medical Center, his residency in anesthesiology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and a fellowship in interventional pain management at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. His special clinical interests are minimally invasive therapies for spinal stenosis, compression fractures, peripheral nerve stimulation and spinal cord stimulation. His practice philosophy centers on a personalized and multidisciplinary approach to pain management that reduces his patients’ level of pain while improving their quality of life. Patients describe him as a professional and caring physician who listens, doesn’t rush them through appointments and explains conditions and answers questions in understandable terms. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Hasoon has published extensively in peer-reviewed medical journals on topics, including migraine headaches, pelvic pain, low back pain, peripheral nerve stimulation and spinal cord stimulation therapy. He is director of the pain fellowship program at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.
