Dr. Narayana has led institutional teams to set-up brachytherapy, stereotactic radiosurgery programs, and oncology workshops in Russia, India and Nepal.His most recent project at Northern Westchester Hospital is Space OAR therapy for metastatic prostate cancer, which offers pain relief and excellent quality-of-life outcomes.Dr. Narayana has published more than 80 peer reviewed original articles and 15 book chapters and has given over 120 lectures as an invited speaker around the world. He has won numerous awards and honors including membership in The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) in Central Nervous System Panel. He serves as an associate editor for the journal of clinical research and therapeutics as well as medical physics and is a reviewer for many oncology journals, including Journal of clinical oncology, Cancer research, Red journal and Neurosurgery.
