Urgent care is appealing to me because of the variety and complexity of complaints that can come through the door. Every day is different, which has allowed me to continue to learn and challenge myself. I believe that communication is key to patient care. Obtaining a robust patient history and listening to patients helps guide proper management. For me, it is just as important that a patient understands the diagnosis and treatment plan. When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling, biking, and trying new restaurants with my husband.

I entered medicine because I love to think about how our bodies work and I like helping people be healthy. I have enjoyed working in urgent care because I like to help patients feel better as quickly as possible. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family. I have two small children and we have a lot of fun playing outside and taking walks in the park.
